Evergreen Wins Best Community at Houston’s Best PRISM Awards

October 12, 2026

What does Houston’s best community look like?

Exactly like Evergreen.

Evergreen took home Best Community honors in the 2026 Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association. This awards program draws hundreds of entries a year to celebrate the excellence in one of the nation’s strongest housing markets. Best Community is among the program’s most coveted awards and is a milestone for our Conroe community.

Committed to Nature

A distinction for Evergreen is its clear commitment to its natural landscape. A 38-foot-tall pinecone entry monument sets the tone for a community steeped in nature. Trees and wooded reserves have been preserved as much as possible throughout the community’s development, including an entire 50 acres along our western border. Evergreen Creek curves through the community with lush landscaping and walkable trails. The Arbor amenity village is centrally located and strategically built in a viewing corridor, visible from several angles throughout the community. Pointing to our love of nature are thoughtful nuances such as run-off from the splash pad flowing down to a creek bed with steppingstones where children can play and animal tracks embedded in concrete with the footprints labeled at Curiosity Park.

In total, 200 acres — nearly a third of the community — are devoted to green space, waterways, and forested land.

Homes, Homes, and More Homes

Another mark of an exceptional community is its variety of floor plans. Again, Evergreen excels.

With homesites that range from 40 feet to 70 feet wide and pricing from the $330,000s to nearly $900,000, home buyers can find a floor plan to meet their needs in Evergreen, whether they are purchasing their first home or third. And when their needs change, they have a range of new homes to meet their new lifestyle. For empty nesters age 55 and better, there’s Trilogy, a neighborhood of homes designed for older buyers.

Engaging Amenities

The Houston’s Best PRISM Awards also look at community amenities, and Evergreen has much to offer. The Arbor is a community hub, with a beautiful clubhouse, resort-style pool, splash pad, and indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Curiosity Park is our young adventurers’ favorite destination, and The Sandlot wiffle ball field brings a new type of play to the community. Bark Avenue Dog Park, opening soon, is sure to be one of our most “pawsome” amenities.

Trilogy residents will have their own set of amenities, available exclusively to people who live in that neighborhood. Residents will be able to relax poolside, test their pickleball skills, keep strong at the fitness center, and meet at the clubhouse with neighbors who have become friends.

We can’t talk about life in Evergreen without mentioning of our lifestyle director, Cameron Levantino. She makes sure there’s always something for Evergreen residents to do! On the schedule for this fall are Candy Bar Bingo, Treat Bag Decorating, Boot Camp on the Lawn, the Evergreen Fall Festival, the Cozy Kitchen Cooking Class, a Wreath-Making Workshop, and the annual holiday party.
