March 5, 2026

As spring break approaches for students in Evergreen, there’s plenty of inexpensive ways to get out of the house and have fun. Students in Evergreen are zoned to Conroe ISD schools, which are on spring break March 9-13.

From a trip to a splash pad to a family adventure at The Learning Zoo, here are several local options for things to do and places to visit this spring break:

  1. Explore the Outdoors

Get outside while the weather is beautiful and visit one of the city of Conroe’s 20 parks or one of the more than 150 parks in The Woodlands nearby, featuring playgrounds, picnic areas, sports courts and more.

  1. Go to the Rodeo

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs through March 22 at NRG Park in Houston. A destination for the whole family, the event features a carnival, shopping, livestock shows, horse shows, concerts, and more.

  1. Share a Family Adventure
